The Plumbing and Basic Hydronic program provide students with the skills to install and repair a variety of piping systems, including heating and gas piping. The program of instruction encompasses related classroom instruction in math, science, and plumbing/gas code. Students install drainage, waste, and vent systems as well as potable water and some heating systems. Residential and commercial piping systems are addressed.
Work areas are equipped with modern boilers, water heating equipment, and plumbing fixtures in a shop that has a two-story mock-up wood frame dwelling.
